Food on TikTok is the easiest content to understand in one second: someone cooks it, tastes it and reacts. Recipes, restaurant reviews, grocery hauls and taste tests. For brands, that means you can watch a creator use a product the way your customer would.
It's also a niche where the audience can smell a forced ad. A creator who never cooks suddenly loving your sauce reads as fake, and the comments say so.
This post gives you a free starting list of US food creators on TikTok, then the playbook for turning it into a shortlist. The full method behind it is in how to find TikTok influencers.
Who are the top food influencers on TikTok in the US?
Here's the current list from our database: lifestyle creators on TikTok, based in the US, biggest first. Our data files food under lifestyle, so some names post beyond the kitchen.

Treat it as a starting point. Followers make a list easy to scan, but they don't predict sales. Big accounts cost more, and the best fit for your product may sit further down.
Every row carries the date its numbers were last updated. Stale data is how brands end up paying for an audience that has moved on.
How to find food creators on TikTok
The list is a start. To go wider:
- Search like a customer. Your product type plus "recipe", "review" or "worth it". "Air fryer salmon" or "high protein snack review" beats "food influencer".
- Search by food type and diet. Baking, budget meals, vegan, gluten-free, BBQ and meal prep each have their own creators and buyers.
- Search by city for restaurants. Local food reviewers are the right fit for a restaurant or a regional launch, even with small followings.
- Look at who your competitors pay. Paid partnership posts show who has done sponsored work in your category.
- Search your own brand name. Creators who already cooked with your product are the easiest yes.
For smaller accounts, filter to 10K to 100K followers and sort by engagement, or see our top micro-influencers on TikTok. We built the same kind of list for US beauty creators on TikTok.
What makes a good food creator for a brand deal?
Followers come last. Look for:
- A match with your buyer. A budget-meals audience and a fine-dining audience want different products.
- A format that shows the product in use. Recipes and taste tests put it on screen. Mukbangs and skits show less of it.
- Honest reactions. Creators who say when something tastes bad are the ones audiences believe when it's good.
- Steady views. A consistent median beats one viral recipe.
- Clean disclosure habits. Past sponsored posts marked as ads. In the US the FTC can hold the brand responsible too.
How to vet a food influencer before you pay
Run the standard checks first: median views on the last 12 posts, engagement measured one way, posting frequency and signs of bought followers. How to vet a TikTok creator walks through each.
Then the food-specific checks:
- Do they actually cook? Check that the hands, kitchen and voice in the recipe videos are theirs.
- Read their past food brand posts. Do the comments ask where to buy, or just scroll past?
- Check the diet fit. A keto creator reviewing your pasta isn't the fit it looks like.
- Ask for audience analytics. A screen recording of countries and cities. For a restaurant or regional product, local viewers are the only ones that count.
When you've got the profile you want, filter US lifestyle creators by followers and engagement to widen the list beyond the top ten.
How much do TikTok food influencers charge?
There's no honest single number. What sets the price: median views, deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity and timing. Recipe content takes longer to film than a talking-head review, so expect recipe videos to cost more than a quick taste test.
Ask for a rate card, then divide the fee by median views and multiply by 1,000 to get a cost per 1,000 views you can compare across creators. If you plan to run the video as an ad, price the ad rights as a separate line.
How to brief a food creator on TikTok
Keep it short and true:
- Product facts. What it is, ingredients and allergens, price, where to buy.
- Claims you can make. Only what's on your label. "High protein" and "healthy" are claims, so keep creators to the ones you can back up.
- Must-show. The product in the dish, and the pack on screen once.
- Disclosure. Every post labelled as an ad, per the FTC's guide for influencers. Gifted product counts too.
- Their recipe, not yours. You hired them for how they cook. Suggest a use, don't script it.
- Logistics. Draft date, post date, usage rights, discount code and tracked link.
Public engagement can't show sales. The tracked link and code are how you find out which creators actually moved product.
FAQ
The table refreshes from our database about once a day. Each row shows the date its numbers were last updated, so you can see how fresh the followers, engagement and views are before you contact anyone on the list.
Our database files food under the Lifestyle niche, alongside beauty, fashion and pets. So the table shows the biggest US lifestyle creators on TikTok, and some of them post about more than food. Check each profile's recent videos before adding it to a food shortlist.
No. It's data, not a recommendation. The table is sorted by followers, which says nothing about fit or sales. Check median views, posting habits and audience location for anyone before you pay them.
Yes. Use the form at /remove-me and we'll remove you within 7 days. The list only shows public profile numbers: handle, name, followers, engagement rate, average views and the date they were updated.
