TikTok influencer rates: what creators charge by size and niche

TikTok influencer rates in 2026 by follower tier and niche, from dated reports, plus how to check a quote against real views before you pay.

TikTok creators price lower than Instagram creators at the same size, and their views swing harder from post to post. Both facts matter when you read a quote. This page gives the sourced ranges by tier and niche, then shows how to check whether a specific creator's rate makes sense. For the full cost picture across platforms, including rights, whitelisting and budgets, start with how much influencer marketing costs.

Rates move monthly and vary by niche. Use these as a starting point, not a price list.

How much do TikTok influencers charge in 2026?

Here are two current sources side by side. Influencer Marketing Hub publishes ranges. Aspire surveyed creators directly and published medians.

TierFollowersIMH range per video (August 2026)Aspire median (2026 survey)
Nano1K to 10K$50 to $200$150 (nano is 2.5K to 25K)
Micro10K to 100K$200 to $800$350 to $750 across TikTok and Instagram feed
Mid-tierNot split out by IMHNot split out$900 to $1,800 across TikTok and Instagram feed
Macro100K to 1M$800 to $5,000$2,250 median
Mega1M+$5,000 to $50,000+Not reported

Sources: Influencer Marketing Hub's TikTok influencer rates (August 2026) and Aspire's TikTok pricing survey of nearly 1,200 creators (June 2026). Aspire's micro and mid-tier ranges cover a standard feed deliverable on TikTok or Instagram, so the TikTok number sits toward the low end.

What brands actually pay is lower again. Collabstr's 2026 Influencer Marketing Report, based on more than 21,000 collaborations, found the average TikTok deal on its marketplace paid $186. That figure is pulled down by how many small creators use marketplaces, so don't expect it from a 200K account.

The same report found TikTok-specific campaigns on Collabstr fell 48% while UGC campaigns grew 133%. More brands now buy TikTok-style videos without the posting, which is cheaper. That's covered in how much UGC creators make.

What do TikTok creators charge by niche?

Niche moves the price as much as size does at the small end. Aspire's 2026 survey reported these median TikTok video rates by category:

NicheMedian TikTok video rate (Aspire, 2026)
Lifestyle$250
Beauty$150
Health and fitness$100

Beauty is the most crowded creator niche, so supply keeps prices down. That cuts both ways for a beauty brand: rates are cheaper, but so is getting lost among ten other sponsored skincare posts that week. If you sell beauty, our list of US beauty creators on TikTok shows what the field looks like.

Is a TikTok creator's rate fair?

A rate is fair if the views justify it. On TikTok, a creator's follower count is a weak signal. The algorithm shows posts to people who don't follow the creator, and plenty of followers stopped watching long ago. So price on views.

Here's the check:

  1. Take the creator's last 12 videos, skipping pinned ones.
  2. Sort by views and take the middle number. That's the median.
  3. Divide the fee by the median views, then multiply by 1,000. That's your expected cost per 1,000 views.
QuoteFollowersMedian viewsCost per 1,000 views
$30015K40K$7.50
$80090K12K$66.67
$2,500400K150K$16.67

These are worked examples, not benchmarks. The 90K creator is the most expensive per view, despite a rate that sits inside the published micro range. That's the trap: a quote can be "normal" for the tier and still be a bad deal.

Then look past views. A good engagement rate on TikTok on recent posts, real comments and steady posting all support a higher price. Views far below followers, generic comments and a long gap since the last post all argue for a lower one. How to vet a TikTok creator walks through the checks in order.

Doing the median and the engagement math by hand for a shortlist of 20 is slow. Scan any TikTok handle free and you get a 0 to 100 score, a verdict and the view and engagement numbers behind it. The negotiating is still on you.

What adds to the cost of a TikTok creator?

The base rate covers one organic video. These push it up:

  • Spark Ads and usage rights. Running the post as an ad, or reposting it on your channels. Aspire found 86% of creators charge more for usage rights, with a median 25% upcharge for one month of digital use.
  • Whitelisting. Ads that run from the creator's handle. Later's 2026 pricing guide suggests adding 30% to 50%.
  • Exclusivity. Blocking competitors for a set period.
  • Extra edits, rush turnaround and raw files. Each is a line item to agree before filming.

Ask for the base rate and each add-on as separate lines. You'll often find you don't need perpetual rights, and a 30-day window costs far less. For how rates shift between tiers on every platform, see influencer rates by follower count.

How should TikTok creators set their rates?

If you're a creator reading this, the same logic works in reverse. Brands that know what they're doing will price you on views, so lead with them.

  • Quote from your median views, not your follower count. If your views beat your follower count, say so. It's your best argument.
  • Separate the base rate from rights. Organic post, then 30-day ad rights, then whitelisting, each priced on its own.
  • Bundle. Three videos at a small discount is easier for a brand to say yes to than one at full price.
  • Keep receipts. Screenshots of views, link clicks or code redemptions from past deals justify your number better than any rate card.
